Santa is watching

Tis the season for all sorts of wondrous things.  For Christians, there is the birth of Christ.  For Jews, there is Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights.  For Santa Claus, there’s a spy mission to Venezuela:

Colombia's defense chief joked Monday that Venezuelan troops might have mistaken Santa's sleigh for a spy plane, dismissing accusations by President Hugo Chavez about drones flying over Venezuela.

Chavez on Sunday accused the United States of violating Venezuela's airspace with an unmanned spy plane and ordered his military to be on alert and shoot down any such aircraft.

The ‘Pentagon has declined to comment on Chavez's accusations,’ and it’s not surprising.  Things are go’in south down there.  Pun intended.

Beginning with Russian arms sales, throw in a Russian naval visit, and then add a few

Russian military factories, and even called the President Obama a nasty name at Copenhagen.

Hugo has been, for many, a bad boy and has earned a visited from the spy in the red suit . . . a rather ironic color actually.

The Big Pixy as espionage agent offers a bit of a chuckle.  And remember real hope is here.  Merry Christmas.

Wikipedia: an avenue for deceit

The open source known as Wikipedia has always been a problem, and continues to be a problem.  Anyone and everyone has access, and can and do, throw garbage into it.

And this from the American Thinker just exemplifies the point . . . again:

For AGW religionists, when in doubt, change the facts

In the religion of AGW, Human Caused Global Warming , if facts don't fit the theology, the facts must change, not the theology …more

Wikipedia contaminates young minds.  They’ve been trained to believe what they read.  Fear and hate are easy emotions to nature and ignorance is a kind of fertilizer.

Climategate

Take about the perversion of science and now mathematics.  This piece by Frank J. Tipler at Pajamas Media is frightening.

Cracking the ice on climategate in blue Jersey is a sign of the wheels coming off. More

As I’ve become an adult, I’ve grown more and more weary of government, state, local or Federal, and now, it is the Federal government and the UN in tandem, which are spark the most concern.

When someone says, “I’m here to save you,” and they are so concerned, we must hold our freedom all that much closer.

Climategate gives skeptics a 'window of opportunity'

But there is far more at the Thinker and you should take time to read because as informed about this fraud and fiasco known as Climate Change/AGW.

ClimateGate

Deceit of biblical proportion

Science is taken from the Latin scientia meaning knowledge.  Well, a whole lot of people got fooled.  When science, the search for knowledge becomes the pursuit for money, I can’t even call Climate science Voodoo.  Voodoo is, at its core, an unadulterated belief.

The ultimate lesson to be learned and relearned is this:  When members of the scientific community, and some aspect of scientific research, become ensnared by the tentacles of the governmental establishment, we as citizens must immediately recognize that there is a problem.

Embryonic stem cell research comes to mind, and the political fight which ensued was more like a grudge match.  President Bush banned Federal funding while President Obama rescinded that ban.   Lots of money is involved as the National Institute of Health (NIH) opened a new website to divvy out the cash.  But up to this date no scientific or medical benefit has been derived from Embryonic stem cell research.

Science must be saved from the exploitation of those who would pervert the scientific pursuit of knowledge for mere financial gain and fraudulent academic credentials ...more at American Thinker.

ClimateGate

Read this E-Mail Fracas Shows Peril of Trying to Spin Science, from the NYT, but the basic fact and subject is fraud, Climate Change Fraud or Hoax.   Pick one.  No other commonsense stance can be taken, and writing ‘trying to spin science’ can’t change the lie.
