What could be seen as a move to ‘level the playing field,’ by waylaying concerns about ‘right-wing radicals’ being singled out, the Obama administration has made an effort to counter the Homeland Security report on Right-Wing Extremism by making a ‘counteroffer’ by placing Daniel Andreas San Diego at the top of the “Most Wanted Terrorist list.’
“The move to add a domestic, left-wing terrorist to the list comes only days after the Obama administration was criticized for internal reports suggesting some military veterans could be susceptible to right-wing extremist recruiters or commit lone acts of violence. That prompted angry reactions from some lawmakers and veterans groups.â€
But you see, Daniel Andreas San Diego isn’t a left-wing terrorist fresh off the socialist radical press, he has been on the run for sometime. Since 2003 that is: “It is all an effort by federal agents to breathe life into an investigation that has stalled since October, when the 25-year-old

From Tea Parties to Political Parties
By Larrey Anderson
“So nearly half a million Americans finally "took to the streets." Moms pushed baby carriages. Men and women skipped a day of work (some of their kids skipped school). Some entrepreneurs closed down their businesses. Almost half a million Americans had a multitude of tea parties and the mainstream media either ignored them or misrepresented them. So where does this leave us?â€

The Tea Party Revolution
By Jacob Laksin
“It was a gray, drizzly day in Morristown, New Jersey, but that didn’t keep some 300 demonstrators – young and old, placard wielding and politically unarmed – from turning out to the city’s downtown green to take part in what has rapidly become a national phenomenon: the Tea Party protest.â€

You Might Be a "Radicalized Right-Wing Extremist" If…
by Michelle Malkin
“If you can redefine dissenting opinion as "hate," you can brand your political opponents as "extremists" -- and you can marginalize electoral threats. "Antigovernment"? "Pro-enforcement"? "Disgruntled"? Feeling taxed enough already and "recruiting" and "radicalizing" your friends and neighbors through "chatter on the Internet"?â€
Comment:
The Left is always ‘redefining’ words ‘giving new meaning’ to them. This twisting of the language is the constant stoking up of fear. Fear is a weapon which was used by Nazis and is used by Totalitarians (AKA Marxists and the like) to generate hate. Fear and hated are companion pieces on the altar of secular deceit.

Cornyn’s throwing Credibility out the window.
The all consuming fear of the Democrats getting the filibuster-proof Senate has put Sen. Cornyn in the position of throwing support to Arlen Specter in the 2010 elections. Cornyn says,
“As I survey the political landscape of the upcoming 2010 elections,†Cornyn wrote in a letter released by his office Tuesday, “it's clear we need more candidates that fit their states. While I doubt Arlen could win an election in my home state of Texas, I am certain that I could not get elected inAt the behest of George W. Bush, the last senator to throw support to Specter was Rick Santorum, a solid pro-life conservative who, in helping Specter, threw his own credentials right out the window. He lost his reelection bit to Bob Casey, who throw his pro-life stance out the window when he voted for U.S. tax payer funded overseas abortions, making him a genuine liberal-Democrat in standing.
Pennsylvania. I believe that Senator Specter is our best bet to keep this Senate seat in the GOP column. A vote for Arlen Specter is a vote for denying Harry Reid and the Democrats a filibuster-proof Senate.â€
The Republican effort to support ‘moderate’ senators wreaks havoc. Arlen Specter hasn’t been a much of an asset, just ask the previous administration. Also, don’t forget the last presidential election. Sen. John McCain found fence-straddling a losing proposition.
Surveying the political landscape and then saying, “Oh, well, we’re stuck with him,†is hardly the way to show the voters that you or your party stands on principle. Principles have nothing at all to do with making-do, but with saying, “If you don’t like what we stand for, you may leave.â€
Yes, political times are tough for the Republicans, but lashing the party to Senators like Arlen Specter can be liked to tying a rock to your leg and jumping in a river. You only go down faster.

In 2003, a primary grassroots candidate by the name of Toomey challenged Specter and lost by 2%, but that was having the weight of President Bush, Santorum and the RNC thrown against him. Could Toomey have won, we’ll never know, but Specter is a 79 year old senator in a state with a Democrat governor.

“Groundhog Day: Toomey Says That Specter Cannot Win This Time [David Freddoso]
I sat down with Rep. Pat Toomey (R., Pa.) the
day in March 2003 that he announced he would challenge Sen. Arlen Specter (R.,
Pa.) in the 2004 primary election. Very few people believed he had any chance
against the powerful senior senator, who had a large financial advantage and who
enjoyed strong support from the Republican establishment and a popular sitting
Republican president.
But the following year, after a vigorous campaign
that built up a grassroots conservative movement in the state out of nothing,
Toomey lost his race by less than 2 percentage points: He came within 17,000
votes out of more than a million cast.â€
I see Arlen running out of time and luck, and Toomey hasn’t gone away.

Notre Dame: A Mistake that won’t go Away
The Catholic Church takes the ‘protection of innocent life in the womb’ very seriously, and Notre Dame President, Father Jenkins should know that. His decision to invite President Obama to give a graduation addressed was bad judgment, to say the least, and has created a problem that is not going away, but snowballing.
A number of bishops have made their opinions known. Cardinal Nicholas DiNardo of
Continuing to illustrate the seriousness of the situation, the new head of the archdiocese of New York, Archbishop Dolan has tossed his miter into the ring, saying, “They made a big mistake ... in an issue that is very close to the heart of Catholic world view, namely, the protection of innocent life in the womb, [Obama] has unfortunately taken a position very much at odds with the Church . . .â€
The oppositional position of American bishops and the president isn’t new. Days after the November election, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) “issued a stern warning to president-elect Obama and his incoming administration, highlighting grave concerns over what will happen to unwanted, unborn human life.â€
For the Catholic Church the issue of abortion is hallowed ground, which President Obama has already trod on when he restored
