Buying Organic doesn’t Matter

Organic food is a multimillion dollar business predication on the fact that ‘organic is better.’  Well, it’s not better as far as the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine has determined. After researchers reviewed over fifty years of scientific material published on the subject the conclusion was “there was no significant difference.”

Alan Dangour, one of the report's authors, stated:

“A small number of differences in nutrient content were found to exist between organically and conventionally produced foodstuffs, but these are unlikely to be of any public health relevance . . .”

[…]

"Our review indicates that there is currently no evidence to support the selection of organically over conventionally produced foods on the basis of nutritional superiority."

It appears that buying ‘organic’ is simply a ‘lifestyle’ choice, which doesn’t make a bit of difference.  So, why not just save yourself a few bucks.
