I’m pleased that Arthur C. Brooks wrote this book and learned something. It shows that learning is a wonderful thing, as for me, I already knew what recently surprised Professor Brooks. All he had to do was ask me. I would’ve told him everything he needed to know. But some people profit more by OJT (On the Job Training). They have to figure it out for themselves. Also, the professor got a book out of the deal.
But who will read Who Really Cares: The Surprising Truth About Compassionate Conservatism? I don’t have to. And I don’t see the acolytes of Barak or Hillary running out to buy a copy any time soon.
